Maplehurst is secluded on 25 acres where you can walk on white, sandy beaches, walk the one-mile sandbar and experience clam digging, or look for sea shells, beach glass, driftwood, and sea creatures.
You can have coffee and freshly baked muffins while looking at the waters of Cardigan Bay from your verandah. In the evening, you will see the most beautiful sunsets on the Cardigan Bay.
The Bed & Breakfast is a Georgian Colonial Manor which was built by Americans who fell in love with P.E.I. while vacationing on the island in 2000. Guests will marvel at the elegant accommodations, spacious, comfortable rooms and warm hospitality which is bestowed upon all guests.
Guests can relax in the many common rooms, enjoy the artwork, period antiques and island quilts.
Delicious healthy breakfasts using local products is served each morning from 8 to 9am in the elegant dining room. Guests may also help themselves to complimentary snacks, beverages and baked goods from the Bulter's Pantry until 10pm.
